Are You Concerned About Boeing's Safety? āļø
A series of incidents has plagued the airplane manufacturer
Do you have any concerns about flying in a Boeing? āļø |
The backstory:
A Boeing 737-800 from SF to Oregon lost an external panel on Friday, the latest in a series of incidents for Boeing.
On Monday, a Latam Airlines 787 en route to Auckland, NZ, took a sudden plunge.
On Wednesday, an American Airlines Boeing 777 landed in Los Angeles after blowing a tire during takeoff in Dallas.
Last week, a United Airlines 737-900 traveling from Houston to Florida made an emergency landing due to an engine fire.
On March 7th 2024, a tire fell off a United Airlines 777-200 leaving SFO, damaging cars in a parking lot.
On January 5th 2024, a door plug blew off an Alaskan Airlines 737 MAX during flight.
Our question of the day is: Do you have any concerns about flying in a Boeing? š¤
Our take:
There are 5000 airplanes in the sky over the U.S. at any given time ā so these incidents are still rare. The flight is likely safer than the Uber ride to the airport.
